Calgary Transit provides public bus transportation to and from the Calgary International Airport via Route #57 with service to and from the Whitehorn LRT Station

Airport Sedan Service was introduced at the Calgary International Airport in June, 2004. Airport Sedans provide premium transportation service to travelers in luxurious Lincoln Town Cars. Airport Sedans are available on-demand on the arrivals level curb, adjacent to our taxi stands. Fares for Airport Sedans are charged based on a zone system at flat rates approximately 25% higher than average taxi meter fares. The fare to downtown Calgary is $40. Airport Sedan Service is available throughout Calgary and to destinations outside of City limits. A number of Airport hotels offer courtesy shuttle service. Hotel shuttles pick up customers at Bus Bays 10 and 11 on the arrivals level. Please call your hotel from one of our phones inside the Terminal or at Bus Bay #10 to arrange for pick up.

The Calgary International Airport offers four convenient parking options - Short Term for quick visits to the Airport, hourly, daily and weekly parking in the Parkade, an Overheight parkingarea for oversize vehicles and a 450 stall surface parking lot. Valet parking is also available on the departures level roadway.
Parking Peak Periods - Advice to Travellers
With current record-setting air travel volumes, vehicle parking at Calgary International Airport's terminal parkade can reach its maximum capacity during peak periods. The busiest periods are generally Wednesday and Thursday each week and over long-weekends. When the terminal parkade reaches capacity, alternate surface parking facilities are made available. Use of the alternate facilities will result in some additional time or inconvenience walking to or from the terminal building.
Travellers are encouraged to allow additional time during peak periods. During peak periods, alternative public transportation alternatives such as metered taxi, flat rate sedan or shared ride shuttle service should be considered.

Short Term Parking: Short Term parking is located on the ground level of the parkade structure and is intended for quick passenger pick-up or drop-off. Parking in Short Term is the least expensive option for durations UP TO ONE HOUR but is more expensive than the Parkade/Long-Term parking area thereafter. The maximum vehicle height clearance in Short Term is 2.5m (Please note: 2.0m is the maximum height clearance in the parking row closest to the terminal building). Accessible parking is available but is subject to a 2.0m height clearance.

Note that the 3rd parking bay (closest to the terminal) is only 2.0 meters (6' 6") and there are crunch bars within Short Term parking to prevent overheight vehicles from accessing this area.

Upon entry into our parkade simply insert your credit card into the designated slot located on the ticket dispenser, once the card has been registered the gate arm will open.(no ticket will be dispensed) When you leave, insert the same credit card at any one of our Credit Card Only Lanes.Your charge will appear on your next credit card statement.
The Rental Car Centre is located on the departures level across the roadway from the main terminal building. It can also be accessed by the elevator lobby across the arrivals roadway. Our On-Airport Car Rental companies operate out of the Rental Car Centre.
Our off-airport car rental companies provide courtesy shuttle service to their rental locations. Shuttle pick-up is located in bus bay #21 on the arrivals roadway. Prior arrangements should be made for pick-up by contacting your car rental company in advance.

Kiosks are available throughout the Calgary International Airport to serve as greeting or information stations for arriving VIP’s, organizations and groups. The Kiosks are placed in four main arrival areas to ensure high visibility and easy access for arriving passengers. At the top of the Kiosk is an area to display signage for the specific event. Each unit is equipped with lockable storage cabinets and a seating bench.
