Paris - Orly Airport (ORY) is located 9 mi (14 km) south of central Paris, France. It has flights to cities in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, the Caribbean, and North America.
Prior to the construction of Charles de Gaulle Airport, Orly was the main airport of Paris. Even with the shift of most international traffic to Charles de Gaulle Airport, Orly remains the busiest French airport for domestic traffic and the second busiest French airport overall in terms of passenger boardings.
The airport is connected to Paris city centre by the A6 motorway, which is known locally as the Autoroute du Sud.
Orly Airport is operated by the Aéroports de Paris organisation and features both a South Terminal and a West Terminal. These are connected by freeways, the Orlyval metro network and shuttles, which are run by Air France and the Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens (RATP).
ADP Information Desks are located at Exit C and Exit H on the ground floor and Hall B on the 1st floor in South Terminal (Sud). In Terminal Ouest (west) there are five Information Desks. Free guides and maps of the airports and Paris are available. Passengers can telephone the Information Centre (tel: (01 4975 1515).
