AMTRAK TRAINS:

Reagan National Airport is located near 2 Amtrak rail stations. Both are easily accessed using the Metrorail system.

Amtrak Union Station ( Washington, DC ): The station is located at Union Station on Metrorail’s Red Line. Please view the Metrorail Map for routing options from Reagan National Airport. Amtrak Alexandria Station (Alexandria, VA): The station is adjacent to the King Street Station on Metrorail’s Blue Line and Yellow Line—the same Metrorail lines which serve Reagan National Airport. Please view the Metrorail Map for details.

METRORAIL:

The Washington, DC Metrorail system has an elevated Metrorail station connected to the concourse level of terminals B and C at Reagan National Airport. Metrorail fare cards may be purchased at machines locates at all entrances to the Airport Metrorail station. The station is also fully accessible via elevators.

How to access the Metrorail station from the Terminals:

Terminal B and C: Use either of two enclosed pedestrian bridges on the concourse level which connect directly to the station.

Terminal A: Exit the terminal to the streetside curb, and board any “Airport Shuttle” bus. At the stops for Parking Garages B and C (bus shelter #3 and bus shelter #5) you may access an enclosed bridge which connects to the Metrorail station.

How to access the Terminals from the Metrorail station:

Terminal C: Go to the north end of the train platform and exit the station. A pedestrian bridge connects directly to the Terminal’s concourse level.

Terminal B: Go to the south end of the train platform and exit the station. A pedestrian bridge connects directly to the Terminal’s concourse level.

Terminal A: Go to either end of the train platform and exit the station towards the parking garage. Take elevator or stairway down to street level and board any "Airport Shuttle" bus.

Elevator access: The elevator is located at the center of the platform. There is a sloped sidewalk at ground level which connects to both pedestrian bridges.

TAXI:

Taxicab stands are conveniently located near the Arrivals (baggage claim) exits of each terminal. Dispatchers at each stand will help you select a taxicab based on your destination in Washington DC, Virginia, or Maryland. No advance reservations are required—service is on a first-come, first-served basis. Below is a chart of approximate taxi rates from the Airport. Please consult your taxicab operator regarding fares for taxi trips back to the Airport.

CHAUFFEURED SERVICES:

Inbound: Airport Regulations allow any transportation company, including Super Shuttle, to deliver you to the airport. Investigate the yellow pages and the internet for Shared Ride Service, limousine service, car service or any other chauffeured transportation services to the airport.

Outbound: Airport Regulations allow you to pre-arrange any vehicle of your choice, including Super Shuttle, to pick you up at the airport. The operator of the service vehicle must be able to show a docket of the arrangement to traffic enforcement officers or Authority personnel. Service vehicles other than Super Shuttle will pick you up at the second curb outside Terminal B&C.

Unscheduled, door-to-door, shared-ride service departs from each terminal exclusively via Super Shuttle. Upon arrival to the airport between 6 a.m. and 12 a.m. (midnight), proceed to the outside curb and look for the Super Shuttle Guest Coordinator. After hours, call 1-800-258-3826 and press 1 for dispatch or 2 for reservations.

GREYHOUND BUS:

Reagan National Airport is located near 2 Greyhound Bus terminals. Both can be accessed using the Metrorail system.

Greyhound Washington, D.C. terminal: Located at 1005 First St, N.E., behind Union Station on Metrorail’s Red Line. It is about a 4-block walk because you must go completely around Union Station property to get there. Taxi service is also available at Union Station. Greyhound Springfield, VA terminal: Located adjacent to the Springfield/Franconia Station on Metrorail’s Blue Line.

SHUTLE:

SuperShuttle door-to-door service is available at the Airport. Shuttles operate on a shared ride-on demand basis. Car parking garages A, B and C provide hourly and daily rated parking. A Pedestrian Tunnel with moving sidewalks connects Garage A with Terminal A. Pedestrian bridges with moving sidewalks connect Garage B and Garage C to Terminal B and Terminal C, respectively. Economy parking lot provides long term parking. Free shuttle buses operate beween economy parking lot and terminals, 24 hours daily, ecery 6-10 minutes. CELL PHONES WAITING AREAS:

Brought to you by popular demand, Reagan National Airport is pleased to announce the opening of a new, free cell phone waiting area.

What is it?

The cell phone waiting area is an ideal place to wait in your car until your arriving party calls you on your cell phone to let you know that the plane has arrived. Tell your party to proceed to any Baggage Claim level door and to look for a door number designated outside and you can pick up passengers there.

Where is it?

The cell phone waiting area is located near the end of the “Return to Airport” ramp just beyond Terminal B/ C.See map below. Follow signs that say “Cell Phone Waiting Area.” Bear left to enter the lot.

Some Things You Need to Know

This is a free lot

Maximum waiting time is one hour

Driver must remain with vehicle

No commercial vehicles are allowed

How much does it cost?

It's free of charge and can be used for up to one hour.

A Pedestrian Tunnel with moving sidewalks connects Garage A with Terminal A. Pedestrian bridges with moving sidewalks connect Garage B and Garage C to Terminal B and Terminal C, respectively.

Courtesy shuttle bus service is available from all parking areas to all terminals, 24 hours a day. Shuttle buses operate along established routes between the parking lots approximately every six to seven minutes.

Banking Services & Foreign Currency Exchange

Seven Automated Teller Machines are located in the terminals. Foreign currency exchange is available at Customer Service Centers in Terminals B and C.

Airport Police:

Located on the Concourse Level of Terminal B next to the chapel. For general information call (703) 417-8560.

Baggage Carts:

Smartcarte baggage carts are available throughout the terminals, parking garages, and at the Metrorail station. The smartcarte kiosks accept coins, $1- and $5-bills.

USO Lounge (United Service Organization):

The USO provides morale, welfare and recreation-type services to uniformed military personnel. A USO Lounge is available at National Airport in Room 220 in Terminal A. Please follow directional signs to Terminal A. In Terminal A, take the elevator to the second floor. Ask an information desk or call (703) 419-3990 to ensure that the lounge is open.

Paging:

Paging is available at the Information Counters and the Travelers Aid Desks in the terminals.

Skycap Services/Baggage Assistance:

Skycap services are available curbside and throughout the terminals.

U.S. Postal Service:

Drop boxes for U.S. mail are located in all terminals. Various postal services are available at the North Customer Service Center.

FOOD&DRINKS: There is a wide selection of restaurants, snack bars, coffees , fast-food all terminals. SHOPPING: Airport has many shops located in all terminals, including newsagents, gift shops, bookshops, a sweet shop, fashion and jewellery shops, luggage shops, toy stores and others .OTHER SERVICES: Shoe shine

INTERNET:

Approximately 150 of the phone banks also have a data-jack, which allows for Internet hook-up. These phones are scattered throughout the Airport for your convenience. The cost for this service is the same $0.50 you would pay to make a phone call from the pay phones; you only need your laptop, phone cord, and the 1-800 number for your Internet service provider.

The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is fully committed to providing universal access to all public facilities and services at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport for all of its patrons.

Washington, DC, is considered one of the most accessible cities in the United States. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is working to ensure that this very important gateway to our Nation's Capital is also accessible to all patrons.

Public Telephones

In Terminals B and C, TTY units are located throughout the Airport and are clearly marked with blue and white signs above each unit. In addition, each group of pay phones has a clear path to a wheelchair accessible unit. All pay telephones are equipped with volume control, are hearing-aid compatible, and have Braille or raised numbers. Over one-third of our public pay telephones are equipped with connections for portable computers, and several of these units also have power connections available for PC users.

Public Address and Information Systems

A Visual Paging System is used in addition to the audible Public Address System for the broadcast of airport information to the general public. The Visual Page is prominently above each of the Airport Directories throughout Terminals B and C. Within the holdrooms at each airline's gates, visual boarding announcements appear on monitors in order that all passengers are able have information about the boarding process. Flight Information Display System (FIDS) boards and Baggage Information Display System (BIDS) units are placed throughout the Terminals and have been carefully situated to minimize glare and ensure readability.
