Casablanca's Mohamed V airport is linked to the city center by train and taxi.
Train
The railway station is located down the stairs from the arrivals hall. A one-way ticket second class to Casablanca costs 35 dirham, 50 dirham in first.
Casablanca Airport Express timetable
Mohamed V airport 5:50 Every hour until 21:50 23:50
Casablanca Voyageurs 6:23 Every hour until 22:23 0:23
Valid until June 27, 2007
All trains from the airport stop at six suburban railway stations before reaching the city's main station, called Casablanca Voyageurs. After this stop, the train continues to its terminal station, Ain Sebaa. There are no direct trains between the airport and Casablanca Port, the city's second-largest railway station. If you're headed for Rabat, change trains at Ain Sebaa. There are trains to Rabat from Casablanca Voyageurs, but many more services to Rabat call at Ain Sebaa.
Taxi
Taxis from the airport to Casablanca leave from right outside the arrivals hall. As you leave the customs area, you will be met by numerous guys offering to help you find the taxi stop and negotiate "a good price". Shake them off, you don't need them. The taxi fares are fixed: 200 dirham between 6 AM and 6 PM, 250 dirham at night. Airport taxis will take you to any address in Casablanca. Some taxi drivers may suggest that the hotel you want to go to has been closed. Most of the time this is an attempt to get you into a hotel where they'll get a commission for bringing in customers. Although it's officially not allowed, taxi drivers will be happy to take you to places other than Casablanca. There are no fixed fares for such rides from the airport. You will either have to pay through your nose or bargain hard to get a decent price.
The CTM bus shuttle between the airport and the city center was cancelled in November 2005.
