Taxi
Passengers arriving by taxi will be set down on the departures roadway directly outside the terminal building.
Metered Area
If your journey is within the Dublin Taxi Metered Area, the driver must charge the fare shown on the meter, plus extras if applicable. The meter should be engaged at start of hire.
Outside Metered Area
Journeys outside the metered area are by a fee per journey. It is advisable to negotiate the price with the driver before beginning your journey.

Complaints regarding vehicles, drivers, fares charged or queries relating to lost property should be submitted in writing to:

Details of the complaint should contain:
1. Roof sign number of the taxi concerned
2. Date, time and details of the incident
3. Contact telephone number where you can be reached.
Taxis are licensed by Dublin Corporation and monitored by the Garda Carriage Office ( http://www.garda.ie/angarda/trafdiv/caroff.html ) (Police) (this will one a new window). Permits to operate at the airport are issued by Dublin Airport. Taxis are available for hire only at the taxi rank located outside the Arrivals Building. It is an offence for taxi drivers to offer taxis for hire to passengers within the Terminal building.

By Rail
There is currently no direct rail link to Dublin Airport. Taxi and bus services are available to most train stations throughout the Dublin area. Dublin Bus serves Heuston and Connolly rail stations.
