Prague Airport today welcomed its ten millionth passenger of 2006. The honour went to Czech Airlines passenger Miss Dagmar Pešková from Prague. This year, Prague Airport broke the magic ten million passengers figure nineteen days earlier than last year. Are you going on vacation and want to leave you car parked safely at Prague airport? Use Parking House C. We have special prices for the summer: Starting 1 June 2006, you will pay only CZK 2000 for one week of parking (previously CZK 2 500), and only CZK 2500 for two weeks of parking (previously CZK 3100).

Procedure for parking:
1. Park your car at any passenger car park, we recommend using Parking C in the central area of the airport.
2. Take a parking ticket from the machine at the entrance to the car park.
3. After parking your car, ideally in a space reserved for holders of physical handicap passes ZTP-P, you need to take the parking ticket to the Airport Prague car park office, with a counter in the entrance hall on the ground floor of Parking C (in the elevator, press the button for 1).
4. In the Airport Prague car park office, after submitting your physical handicap pass ZTP-P and a document on the ownership of your car, you will be issued free of charge with a new parking ticket, with free exit from the car park.
5. Parking spaces reserved for the handicapped in Parking C:
1st storey - 0
2nd storey - 18
3rd storey - 15
4th storey - 15
5th storey - 10
6th storey - 5
UNAUTHORIZED PARKING
In the area of Prague – Ruzyne Airport, places for parking are well marked-out. If a driver parks a car where parking is prohibited and commits an administrative infraction according to Act No. 13/1997 Coll., the driver may have to deal with the towing service. The towing service will place the car to an area designated for towed away cars in Prague 6, K Letišti Street, behind the building of the Airport Prague.
The towing away of a car is reported in the central records of the CR Police and at the CR Police station of Prague 6 – Airport. Information can be obtained through emergency telephone line – 158.
The towed away cars may be collected at any time. You need to present
an identity document (identity card, passport or other incontestable document), and a certificate of roadworthiness of the vehicle.
A fee, determined by the ordinance of the Metropolitan Authority of the City of Prague, is charged for the tow away. You can pay in cash or with a credit card.
The towing service crews also have at their disposal vehicles with a hydraulic arm and a special vehicle designated especially for larger transport vehicles and document the whole process of the tow away. They are instructed to treat the property they handle with maximum care.
